So you’re telling me the guy that has won 2 games in the first round in his career wants to go to Buffalo?
I guess it makes sense, put up a bunch of points beside Eichel, then get traded at the deadline to a contender and cash out in free agency. This is probably the course of action that would make him the most money out of anywhere he could’ve signed.
I fully understand why he’d do it for the stats and stuff, but how can you say all you want to do is win and sign with the team with the longest playoff drought? Shocking stuff to me.
I like the move for the sabres but 1 year isn’t great - hopefully he re ups by TDL if the sabres are doing well for a extension of a couple years or I think he walks

Are you kidding me? This is a steal for the Sabres... The fact that they were able to get him at all is a freaking miracle.
Amazing move for the Sabres. He'll either help the Sabres make a run for the playoffs (unlikely) or they'll flip him at the TDL to a contender.
imma say this isn't a good signing, because the Sabres have a logjam on LW and are super bare on RW. The logical move if they wanted a big name would be Hoffman/Dadonov/Tofolli imo
Watching Dak Prescott just get injured after taking a one year deal, I hope Hall can stay healthy given his past. He'll be only Eichel's line so racking up points shouldn't be the issue. Cash out next year. Also, good on Eichel for publicly pressuring the organization into improving the team.
