Ducks trade is obviously cap related so Anaheim can sign Lindholm. Losing Fowler and Ritchie would be tough but adding Komarov at 1.4 for this year and next would replace more then what Ritchie is providing at this point. Lindholm will replace the minutes from Fowler and hunwick would replace stoner. Or one of the ducks young D. The prospects leipsic and Rychel could play 3/4 Lines if needed and both can be sent down. The second rounder is a sweetener to get it done.
Calgary would not move tkachuk and nor would the leafs want to move that package for him. Jvr is obviously better then Tkachuk and he's only 27. Kapanen looks promising but the leafs are loaded on top end RWs. And I look around the league and tkachuk would be my target for our future top line of Tkachuk Matthews Marner. They all have chemistry as well.
Trading for trouba makes sense as we don't really need fowler on the left side anyway. Adding Dermott who looks promising and a 2nd probably won't get it done but that would be my offer for the $$ difference and position the jets are in.
