Description
This scenario assumes MacArthur isn't fit to play. Such a good guy it's sad it might happen. He seems to be getting better though so maybe he comes back.

Pens trade happens at some point in the 16/17 season.

The focus for the 17 off-season was bolstering the D. So I thought uniting the Stone bros would be cool. I'm think Michael doesn't have as good a season as last year and signs for less money and more term. Oduya to play with Ceci I think would be good. Or he could play with Karlsson. Then bring back a familiar face in Michalek for the 4th line! That would make Karlsson happy haha.

I'm a die hard Sens fan, so please, for all that is Holy. Get Phagoof of the 1st D-pairing. Man's absolute garbo. He should not even be a top 4. Im serious, he's that bad. He excels in only a few things
1) turnovers
2) Irrelevant hits
3) more Irrelevant hits
4) Penalties
5) Thats about it smile

Cmac: I believe Phanuef would waive his NMC for the draft. He would prefer to play in Vegas (I assume). He wouldn't be claimed by it allows Ottawa to protect any Dman like Methot.

McDavidsEgo: Gee, you have only had the pleasure of Phanuef for 3 months.....wait till for next 4 years, 5 months.. IMO you analyzed correctly most of his play in Toronto. Not that I hate Dion as a person but only three people thought he was a good NHL Dman.....Burke, Nonis and Murray.

Oh yeah palhal, last 4 years have been rough for Leaf fans during the Phagoof Burke, Nonis and Murray (et al) era. My whole fam are Leaf fans, so they suffer with ya. I got out while i still could haha.
Future looks bright though, leafs have a good skilled squad coming up with Marner, Matthews, Hyman, etc.
