I think yes. If you look at players who have similar production than him (considering he has some defensive gaps in his games (that were largely made worse because of Marc Staal being a pylon)) that's a realistic deal IMO. I could maybe remove a bit of AAV/term or even both but I think it's fair or very close to it

Yeah I think he pushes for 4 years on that AAV but maybe they settle at 5.

I think you should add some defense prospects to the trade, like Rykov, or Reanunaen (whatever the spelling :P). Maybe even Chytil? This way, they have an NHL ready center at a reasonable cap hit.. for this year, anyway.

Not giving anything to Tampa for Cirelli except the formal compensation (future 1st and 3rd). The Lightning is up ***** creek without a paddle. They don't even have the second buyout window option because no RFA's filed for arbitration. Yeah they got the cup but if they cant get out of the current cap situation by the start of the season, they might have to forfeit games until in compliance.
