Who is Buffalo passing to get into the playoffs? Certainly not Boston, Tampa or Toronto. Maybe Florida and hope for a wildcard, but Montreal will be improved as will Ottawa as well. Still not a playoff team

I'd put them above Ottawa for sure, no offence, Sens

Possibly, but you are still shallow and have more questions than answers.

Where are the questions?
You have 2 solid lines 3rd line is still be constructed but looks like it's gonna be young so is that it? 4th line is overpaid but is solid. Defense is pretty much the same as last year and was a top 8 d 5v5. Ullmark had a .920 save percentage when healthy so add a back up goalie?
Like if the 3rd line and backup G are the biggest question they are doing just fine.
They will be right in the mix with the top 3.

Your 2nd line compared to the other teams in your division is subpar. Match them up against Tampa or TO and it's not even close. Eichel may be even against Matthews but JT vs Staal? Or Stamkos etc. And beyond Dahling and Jokiharju I don't see a good defence that matches up against Boston, or Tampa or TO or even Montreal or Ottawa. Goaltending wise, it's not even a conversation. The problem with Buffalo is they get a GM and tell them, make us win right now and they just don't have enough pieces and it fails. It will again here and Adams will be fired in 2 years.

Where's your argument for the Defense they were top 8. So at the bare minimum they are very similar to the other teams you mentioned. Again Ullmark had better numbers than Anderson but behind Vas and Rask. Better than Price during the year. So I think youre letting your bias that buffalo is bad driving your argument. And for the 2nd line Toronto probably has mlre fire power but a skinner staal reinhart 2nd line i would put ahead of Boston and on par with TB

Worse D than Boston?
At this point, they may be somewhat on par w the loss of Krug.
I could see Tampa having another solid season, but with Toronto there's always questions, they were almost overtaken by Florida last year, Buffalo could out them even.

I just think it's going to be the same old for Buffalo, they'll be in the running but will fall off again. They won't score enough and Hall will likely get traded at the deadline.

It's going to be interesting for sure. Personally I see TO coming on very strong. They have a much deeper Blueline, they still have decent depth up front, especially if Barbarov and Robertson play well. Andersen will bounce back, Campbell is a very good backup and a full season under Keefe will make a big difference. Couple all that with the chip on the shoulder attitude the core is going to have after hearing so much **** from everyone and this team will want to prove everyone wrong. Tampa won't be as good since they are going to lose several pieces. Boston's age will catch up to them but still both teams are better than Buffalo. If you stay healthy you will be fighting for a wildcard spot and could make it sure but that's about as far as I can see you going. There is just too much power ahead of you.

See this is you having no reason other than they were bad in the past. I can easily say I think Boston is getting old say they will drop off. Toronto will continue to have deficiencies and buf can pass them. That’s all opinion based on nothing
