How is he overvalued? Honest question. The only thing that is sad is how some people undervalue how good Sam has been for the past 4 years.

Maybe but we've seen player's rights traded for mid-high picks, even if the player has the option for UFA (see Jimmy Vesey). Taking a risk on Pilut is well worth a third for a team IMO.

Pilut isn't exempt from the expansion draft and Los Angeles has Anderson, Bjornfot and Clague on that side after this season, so they won't be spending a third-rounder on a guy that could be a King for only one year.

Comps. I just checked 10 Red Wings GMAC’s not one of them had Tyler Bertuzzi over 5.2 mil

Similar goals and points does not ride shot gun with Jack Eichel.

Over 6 mil puts Sam in elite company that he is it part of
