Description

I don't think the Sens will take on a contract. I don't know what the Isle's will do with their money issue to sign Toews, Barzal and Pulock. But this gives them 13.4m to sign Toews and Barzal. Sucks they lose Pulock, but Abramov is a great prospect on the verge of competing for an NHL spot. Don't think this would even happen, Ladd probably wouldn't waive. But I'd love the Sens to use their cap space for something productive lol.

Don't think Isles is planning to use their best D-man as a compensation for taking Ladd's terrible contract. They'd rather let go their futures.

I wouldn't want to do it if i was the islanders either. Maybe they have to trade Bailey, or Leddy for a mid round pick. Going to be interesting what they do. But if they want to resign all 3, they're going to need at least 17 to 19mil. They're at 8.9 now... That's not easy without getting hurt from a high level prospect or good roster player
