Don't worry about Juulsen. Every team in the league has their own players that they are worried about on waivers, they are not going to take a chance on a defenceman who has only managed 16 AHL games since his injury two years ago.

Even if he is claimed, the habs have still have Fluery and Brook in Laval.

That being said, Juulsen can still have a good camp and make the team. Maybe Romanov and Fluery are the first pairing guys in Laval? Romanov would have to have a good camp and really show he is better than Mete, Juulsen, etc. to make the team. Maybe the habs got Demchenko and Khisamutdinov signed to have other Russians in Laval?

Also agree Weal saves enough cap to make a 22 man roster:
Poehling / Weal / Belzile is a good a pretty good line for Laval too.

I think this means one of Kulak, Armia, Lehkonen or Byron is gone since we are now in excess of wingers and have been in excess of defenceman

What about Tatar? I doubt he stays with the Habs after this season anyways.

I only see him traded at TDL if we're in a bad spot or to spark up the team, Bergevin has finally tasted playoffs and that's his goal this year too.

Tatar can help reach the playoffs, even if he's a non factor in the playoffs

Weal will get taken if he's on waivers, which means more cap relief
