The Senators aren't interested in Duncan Keith, they are rebuilding.

If you're rebuilding, you can't really make a worthwhile trade with another team that's rebuilding.

Why would Detroit be remotely interested in Brent Seabrook? He's heading towards LTIR more then likely, We've no use for him. Detroit is getting younger as well.

Dont think the hawks would be interested in giving up Murphy and a 2nd for free either. Not really compatible trade partners for this

So a 2nd + 3rd to take one of the worst contracts in the league for multiple years in a world where cap space is gold. What did you use as a baseline to determine appropriate value for this?

No shot Dallas can afford that Kane contract. Given the current Salary Cap situation across the league, most teams aren't going to be able to afford the deals you've laid out here
