No need or interest in Chiasson.

Not that D or that goaltending. Teams would absolutely light up a Nurse-Barrie pair. Also waiting to see a good player next to McDavid and if any player upfront besides RNH can play some defence. Also, that Boston trade is not happening.

I agree with the goaltending, but when Klefbom comes back they might have a top 10 D core in the league. Having depth like Russell and Bear on your 3rd pairing is important, especially with the condensed season. Also, as a Pens fan, Kahun is good. He would be a great cheap option for the Oilers, not sure why Buffalo didn't qualify him

Damn.. I already forgot about the Klefbom news frown That's too bad. I don't see a ton of issues with this team. I like the Kahun signing. Interested to see how Barrie does this year. Absolutely love him buying in on himself to prove that he is still a good option. Play a season with McDavid, bank 60pts and boom, big money contract. Still think the defense needs to be addressed, but if Klefbom could come back at some point there might not be a need for a trade. Bottom 6 could use some leveling, maybe? I don't know anything about Haas, though.

I think unloading the Neal contract would do wonders, but it seems kinda unrealistic at this point. But yeah, a PP with McDavid, Draisaitl, Nuge, Yamamoto, and Barrie would be nuts. Left side of the D is kinda weak but it all depends on Klefbom like you said

Seattle is going to reap the same rewards that Vegas did and get a bunch of caliber NHL players sent with draft picks, so there is definitely still a chance! I wanna see some Puljujarvi magic this year too.

Definitely agree with Kahun signing, really liked that. But the d will suffer. Klefbom is thier best dman and might be out for a while. Again, teams will feast on that Nurse-Barrie pairing. Larsson healthy is really good defensively in the top 4, but injury always seems to be a problem. Even with a healthy O.K. that is definitely not a top 10 d in the league.
