I like the Toews move, I like the Saad move. Thought for what Hall ended up getting, the Avs could have matched it, but oh well for that. I see the Avs still making deals to figure out a way to find a spot on D for Byram and to continue upgrading their secondary scoring. One move that might solve everything is a deal with the Flames. Let me know your thoughts.

TO CALGARY:
Tyson Jost
Samuel Girard

TO COLORADO:
Elias Lindholm
Sam Bennett

So the Avs lines now are
(1) Landeskog - MacKinnon - Rantanen
(2) Saad - Kadri - Lindholm
(3) Bennett - Compher - Burakovsky
(4) Calvert - Bellemare - Donski

Now that is tougher and adds additional secondary scoring, plus you free you a spot on D for Byram.

Damn, they get even better!! Also, Calgary gets some big pieces back. I am jealous as a Penguins fan! Trying to find something that I can offer from the Pens side for Jost/Girard, but I don't know what it could even be

That lineup would be UNREAL! And it is good value, but the Flames need Lindholm more than they need Girard.
