I like Johnson but TB needs to add as much as possible in any trade to try not to hold any money back

The Leafs can't afford 5M & don't think Tampa wants a player back. But if they eat half of Johnson & get a real asset they could use that to sweeten another deal without retaining

Yeah but Tampa is probably getting desperate, or will be the longer this takes. It's a year of weird deals
