So many things wrong with this. First, too much for yanni. Tampa has no cap room so you use that as leverage and not give them as much as he's worth. The Fluery thing would just never happen, too obvious to explain why. They would never use a promising young center in Chytil for a cap dump with Smith. And lastly, we aren't giving up our first rounder

Gourde is one of the hardest centres to play against in the league. I think that the second can be a third with a contingency on the rangers making the playoffs . Secondly Chytil doesnt fit on this team. He is not an NHL centre. He is a winger who was forced to play centre and this team as far too many young wingers he is expendable. The fleury trade makes perfect sense they are far above the cap and cant pay him. They just signed petro which makes schmidt expendable. The AVS are right there and would kill for a stanley cup winning tender.
