I love Tatar but I’m not sure if we should keep him long term. This deal allows us to replace him with someone who has term and skill for a good price.

Canadiens have 0$ in cap space and CBJ traded Murray for a 5th, Stastny was traded for a 4th and Schmidt a 3rd next year. Nobody will/should give a 3rd for Kulak.

Fair enough, most of those are cap dumps so once those deals stop ya never know. Truthfully it’s more about just getting rid of him.
