Description
Let me start by saying I HATE this trade for Tampa. Colemen HUGE reaaon we won Cup and actually made Yanni Gourde serviceable.. he a superhero .. LOL .. BUT

Tyler Johnson situation getting worse.. Buchuyck costing Islanders a 2nd for his 2 year 12M contract .. this is probably market now BUT it getting worse..

However .. the more sad part is NEXT YEARS Cap .. zero money and need to resign Colemen and Goodrow .. trading Colemen NOW is getting ahead of Cap and getting value now as Colemen a stud and low cost contract .. I HATE this one but him .. or Goodrow... could be pain for TJ and Gourde contracts .. Gourde is same situation as TJ next year .. if we can't sign guys NEXT year .. get something for them now

Can't imagine not giving credit to Gourde for his wonderful efforts in these playoffs, so much credit due, he was even so consistent it was stunning

Coleman 'made Gourde serviceable' when Gourde carried the line? In terms of driving possession almost entirely, creating most chances, using his speed and awareness to create space, playmaking etc. He was one of the most dynamic TB forwards on most nights

Dunno if BC as an off puck player who specializes in quick burst chances and tactful positioning can have that impact, he had a lovely playoffs, but like ?

If anyone deserves disparaging: Goodrow was the sidecar and is basically a generic NPC player who basically does nothing well, he defines mediocrity

Hit a nerve. But small players deserve more respect

Why NJ trade a 1st for Coleman ?
TJ will cost more than a 2022 2nd round pick to get rid of him

Yanni Gourde sucks .. he did have good playoffs .. due to Colemen. Gourde lacks basic hockey talent and skill .. except hustle.. his ceiling is 3rd line and played 4th line most of last 2 years .. his 5 year $26M NTC contract for a $1M year grinder is one of worst in NHL

YOU hit a nerve and lack basic evaluation of a player

I WARNED Tampa fans for 2 years on both TJ and Gourde contract .. the body count is JT Miller and Carter Verhegge to date .. casualties of these 2 disasters... who is next?

This isn't rent-a-center, now your done return it. Schmidt got a third two yrs from now and you're expecting a first back, ok

Yes, Tampa paid for 2 years of a cheap center, and Jersey has no use to trade for him, especially what will likely be a high pick.

You're delusional as usual on here lol. Gourde is going nowhere and drove the 3rd line. Coleman does jack without him there. I know it must drive you insane to realize how wrong you are about Gourde, but Tampa doesn't win without the play of the 3rd line, and that's right, Gourde was the playmaker on it. His contract is fine for what he has done and will likely continue to do, which is shift between the 2nd and 3rd lines as needed. Please keep embarrassing yourself on here with your out to lunch opinions, as they are quite amusing.
