Think the Blackhawks would take a one year flyer on Rittich?

probably not for Strome. With them signing Markstrom, I would definitely like to see a Rittich for Subban and a 3rd or something like that. Dont really know what hes going for but they seem to have found their guy.

I think the Rangers one would be fine. CLB *should* accept, but I'd caution buyer beware on a goalie with good numbers coming out of Columbus. They play an excellent D-system, meaning that goaltending stats will likely be inflated. He's good, but I don't know that he'd have the same success in Chicago.

Vegas and Buffalo likely both decline. I'm sure VGK would love to get out of Fleury's deal, but I don't know that giving up both of those picks are how they'd want to do it. I'm kind of flip flopping on it tbh. Buffalo definitely says no though. UPL is their goalie of the future.

Probably too much for Georgiev, not enough for Korpi and Lukkonen

would they? doubt it. should they? probably if they dont trade for a more proven guy, but not at the cost of strome.

I like that, Flames need to move some money and those pieces will be Rittich or Ryan, Domingue just signed with the Flames too which doesn't instill a ton of confidence in a back up so a guy like Subban would be nice to add.

The only one I really see that could gain some traction is Korpisalo. Columbus is looking for skilled top 6 forwards and will need to trade one of Korpisalo or Merzlikins before the expansion draft. And I get the sense they like Merzlikins a lot.

What does expansion draft have to do with anything?

Also Columbus doesn’t want need Strome anymore, we adding Domi already to be the 2nd line center so Strome would have to be moved to wing and Columbus has planet of wing options at this point.

My apologies. I had thought Columbus would have to expose one of them and didn’t know Merzlikins was exempt. That makes it an easy no from Columbus.

As usual, there's collective amnesia that Elvis is exempt from the expansion draft. And we're overstocked at RW, but I wouldn't mind adding a skilled scoring LW. But Strome doesn't move the needle for me. Now, DeBrincat...

2021 is a weak draft but Autu Raty is the believed #1 right now. Finnish center. Personally would prefer Owen Powers. Left handed defenseman with Lots of Hedman comparisons.

        Hardly.

Seriously, y'all, stop it already. Neither Strome has either been of the least bit of interest to the Jackets because they're both the products of their star winger linemates - y'know, players that we don't have. And it's become even less interesting now that Domi's here.
