The Penguins can’t afford this trade. As it’s been reported before, they would only be interested in Fleury if he got bought out.

Also VGK GM said they aren't trading him anymore. Lehner is having shoulder surgery and currently no return date

Would need to take Casey DeSmith back probably, and then, really no savings worthwhile for anybody

They’re worse than they are currently. Zucker isn’t that much of an upgrade over Marchessault, and Fleury definitely brings value to the team. And IDK if Glass would be able to handle that much responsibility right away.

Penguins pass. Zucker/Marchessault is a wash really, but even taking Fleury at 50% we should be getting a 2nd back. Add in that and I suppose we would consider it.
