You didnt give up enough imo.

Roslovic is a bottom 9 forward

Niku has sucked in his short time in the NHL

You would need to add atleast a top 5 forward and a middle 6 forward

Weegar is a legit top pair defenseman

Weegar would be good to have in the system but trading a potential top 6 forward and a decent defence prospect is beyond mental. This does nothing but make the team worse, every time I look at this I lose nearly 30 brain cells and my IQ drops to the floor...

By the looks of some of the comments Weegar has become one of the most overrated players on this site just like DeMelo.

I would easily do that trade, based on the trades that have transcribed the past few days, I could actually see something like that go through, and it would be a huge win for the Jets if it did.

We have 2 future Top 4 in our system that will soon crack our lineup. Weegar might be a Top4 but that term. Just like Stastny, we need a plug for a year. Who that is I don't know and don't know if Chevy is working on anything. Chisholm is also in our future- where will he fit? I think our left side is looking pretty good for many years. I don't think Weegar on the left for that long makes sense.

If that is the case- trade for him and sign him to this contract. If he is a legit Top4 RD then we have a partner for Morrissey.

Can't say I've watched Weegar play all that much, wonder if he's not another overrated fancy stat darling.

Can't believe Chevy didn't make the Toews trade, does he talk to any GM's other then McCrimmon?.. Lol

Yeah, I'm not the biggest Martinez fan but to get both of those guys for essentially free would of made helping Vegas a lot more palatable for me.

I wonder what's going to happen with the Islanders and Tampa, maybe someone becomes available from one of those teams, Leddy's buyout isn't that bad, maybe he hits free agency or send a Heinola+ for Sergachev.
