Signed Joe Thornton to a $1mm, 1-year contract to give him a shot to go deep in the playoffs. Traded Pierre Engvall to Detroit for a 2022 5th round pick to create more cap flexibility. Signed Jared Coreau to a 1-year, league minimum deal to start in goal for the Marlies and mentor Woll/Scott.
Bogosian/Dermott will split games depending on how well Lehtonen can transition to the NHL.

I'm not sure you'll find a team lacking in depth forwards to take Engvall. Detroit is definitely not lacking.

Wings don't need Engvall. We already have 875 forwards.

Anderson gets 800k at most. Mikheyev and Dermott both get at least 1.5 mill imo.

Fair enough, would probably just tweak the receiving team for Engvall then. Maybe OTT.
