Apparently it’s his turn to die in the off-season.

Now, I know that I left him off the roster and I’ll be completely honest, I forgot about him. Fixed it up!

As others have said, Soup should be where Engvall is.

If the Leafs are trading Holl and Dermott (possible I think, but if so, probably not until at least camp, and even then I suspect they would only trade one and rotate a 7th D in and out of the lineup) then you play Sandin with Bogo not Lehtonen. Sandin needs to play with a Bogo type D - big defensive D who will be a good mentor and give Sandin the confidence to do his thing, while also ensuring that he is not the target for cheap shots and abuse again this season - as he was we while playing with Barrie, Liljegren and Holl. Lehtonen, who will be figuring out the league himself, is the last partner Sandin needs.

If Dermott is traded I could see the Leafs running:

Rielly - Brodie
Muzzin - Holl/Lehtonen
Sandin/Lehtonen - Bogo

With each of Holl, Lehtonen and Sandin sitting every third game.

No matter who is on the D-core - whether it includes Holl and Dermott or not - I just don't think it makes any sense to have your only two tough Ds playing on the same pairing (especially as I don't think that Bogo can last a full season of 2nd pairing play and PK), when your third pairing would be soft as butter.
