That isn’t enough for Mikheyev, and it would be a bad idea to play Kerfoot on the wing.

Quite frankly, it will be difficult to justify keeping Lehtonen on the bench with the season he's having in the KHL. I think it will be a delicate situation to handle if the Leafs want to keep attracting KHL players.

Also, I agree that Kerfoot needs to develop at the centre position if he's going to be part of the plan.

These contracts are at the correct value, IMO.

They are, except Dermott gets two years (if his rights aren't moved) and Soup gets 1.....

But I think the money is pretty bang on given the market right now.

Especially with Chris Johnston recently reporting all his trusted Russian sources pretty much guarantee lehtonen will be a top 4 D in the NHL
