NSH could just sign a similar player to Strome at a similar cap hit while keeping their two 2nds. And there is concern with Strome that he didn't click with NYI, EDM, but finally did with NYR playing with Panarin -- was it him or Panarin that finally worked...

in 18-19 it was him 100%
In 19-20 he was great again (of course Panarin boosted his numbers by a decent margin)

Not exactly impressive in 2018-19, but he definitely improved over that same year in EDM. I'd rather just target a FA where I only have to give up cap space as opposed to Strome for two 2nds.

Is Reunanen a good prospect? I'm not too familiar with him. We could trade Kulak for a 3rd, but if Reunanen doesn't make up for the difference, that Lafreniere kid could be used as a sweetener

0,5 PPG in 18-19 with the trainwreck that was that year's NYR is pretty damn solid LOL.

But NSH could be any team. I could try fitting him in SJ or Minny for instance

Is the difference between Cirelli and Buchnevich really just a couple of 3rds? That seems like wishful thinking.

    He'd 100% make your 21-22 team IMO

Also LOL, «that Lafrenière kid»tears of joy

Buchnevich's easily in the top 10 of the most underrated wingers in the entire league. His offense isn't elite, but his overall game (physicality, defensive awareness, work ethic...) is just amazing.

Also Zac Jones is a pretty damn solid prospect. I really believe he's got number 4 upside.

I don't know...he may, but Cirelli is a stud, and I can't imagine the Bolts have any intention of moving him. We all thought they were in trouble last year, and they managed to get through and get Point signed. I'm pretty confident that they'll get Sergachev and Cirelli signed. When they're inevitably moving players, it'll be the Killorn's, Palat's or Gourde's of the world (Unless they can get Johnson moved at some point?)

For the contract that you gave him, you might as well just p1ss the world off and offer sheet him though tears of joy You'd be paying less!

That's the thing about the trade tho... if one happens I think TB should/must get more than an OS...

Fair enough...I just don't think that there's anyone out there who would offer an offer sheet...the NHL is wayyyy behind the times when it comes to stuff like that, mainly because the majority of executives are recycled old guys who don't want to p1ss off their pals.

So many people on here are just throwing $5m at TDA like it's nothing. $5m for a 3rd pair D man and $20m total on the right side after Fox gets paid in 2 years. Meanwhile we have a suspension magnet, Brendan Smith and Jack Johnson on the left. Trade TDA for a LD.
