Something almost everyone on where seems to not realize, one has to actually have a long term injury to be LTIR. When the leafs did it last year both Horton and Clarkson had injuries they would never recover from. Weber and Price have been durable so that likely isn't going to happen. If Weber is such an upstanding leader like many say he is, I doubt he'd retire and destroy Nashville by giving them the recapture penalty so I think both are on the books for their term. The other issue is the number of guys making around 5 million. That never works out. Look at the Islanders, they can't sign their RFA's because they have too much money tied up in bad contracts for average players moving into their 30's. I worry about the Habs future.
