Stastny is a big add. I know it's not the 2018 Stastny, but him with Laine/Ehlers is nasty.
Forbort is an upgrade over Kulikov, in my eyes, because he will be able to play a shut down role better than DK can.
DeMelo didn't *really* get a chance to gel with the team. 10 games before the pause isn't enough time to really get acclimated.
They still could use one more piece on the blue line. Simply to move everyone down one spot and ease the pressure (perhaps Vatanen?)
But this team is definitely better than the 2019-2020 Jets. While the roster looks similar, they will be better.

having a full time 2C in Stastny and having Demelo/Samburg/Heinola/Harkins play the full season with the club will already improve the team drastically, the jets were on a roll before covid and injuries hurt them in the playoffs but this was not a bad team last year and its already improved

you also haven't included roslovic , either hell play middle 6 minutes or we will get an asset for him in a trade

I'd be shocked if no more major trades are made before the start of next season. Just because nothing happened during free agency doesn't mean options are completely dried up. Situations always change and new players become available.

To get upset about the roster before it's even set is just dumb.
