Want moves

Created by: Deleted_xh2j92
Team: 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 14, 2020
Published: Oct. 14, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Once you move the salaries from Danault, Byron and Lehkonen; you have money to replace them at a cheaper rate; but this give you cap space to keep Gallagher next year; New contract for KK and provides you with money to spend come UFA time. Still have space for Tatar, Armia and Weal if need be.

In return you get Brassard, a good 2nd/3rd centerman; Dulcair who can put up points and comes from MTL so you get fan points and a scorer that can play 3rd or 2nd line when need be; and Kahun who can put up decent points on the fourth line, and be in the plus averages which Bergevin likes. You could also go for Dadonov at 5M$/yr for 4 yrs instead of Duclair.

  2. 2021 4th round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
Vegas get his rights; can sign him this or next year (850K$) to put a lower paid player on the roster if need be to keep their cap to the max. 2 way this year anyways so doesn't affect them and helps them in the long run if they move someone out.
2.
MTL
  1. 2021 1st round pick (FLA)
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
1st (2021) and 2nd (2022) from FLA for Danault and Lehk is a good deal; they still get picks for this year plus a good center and a good left winger which they still need at this point.

  2. Harvey-Pinard, Rafaël
  3. Lehkonen, Artturi

  5. Pitlick, Rhett
  6. 2021 3rd round pick (MTL)

3.
MTL
  1. 2021 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
3rd rounder for Byron
NJD
  1. Byron, Paul
  2. Demchenko, Vasili
  3. Lucchini, Jacob
  4. Verbeek, Hayden
Additional Details:
Byron is a winger that can play Left or Right, good speed and great when a man down. NJ has cap space, and need someone that can play right wing without spending too much.

Also get potential prospects for depth, a big goalie that NJ normally likes, that could jump if they have a good talk with him.

The Panthers trade is VERY close imo, add Belzile and a 7th round pick and they accept I think

NJD would pass on Byron. MTL could save $1.4 million by buying him out.

Your view point.

Sure why not. Switch a Prospect for Belzile, and add a 7th. That doesn't hurt and is fair.
