Sutter is actually kind of interesting to think about since he's on a one year deal, Vancouver probably would want little to nothing for him, and half retained, he'd be somewhat affordable.

Could be an okay 3C for a year.

Like this a lot if Sutter can play C. If Jumbo doesn't come back, I want a veteran as the 3C to help the young guys.

Totally. He's a solid 3rd liner, excellent on the PK, and isn't afraid to score big points in the Playoffs. I'd be down to add him for a year.

He's playing 3RW on VAN, but I wouldn't mind switching him with Patty.

What about Beagle at 1.5M for is it 2yrs? Would be a 4C more than 3C though most likely.... leave Kellman and Handemark to fight over 3C

Because Beagle has 2 years left on his contract while Sutter has 1. It seems the rental aspect is appealing to DW this offseason.

Also, Sutter is an objectively better player.
