Edit:
I think Ottawa would consider it

I think it’s an interesting concept to see a trade of brown back to Toronto

I think brown back to Toronto would be a good more for them and would be interesting for the sens but I think they’d rather prospects or something more quality. I doubt they want kerfort with White-Tierney-Norris-Stutzle (for now a center/ could change). Kerfot would be useful but I doubt they’d bite

ya I'm not sure what would go back but the leafs lost so much heart when connor brown left, would love to have him back

Edited my comment
My bad, Didn’t have the correct prospect in mind - I think they’d consider the offer but more so be interested in working that out (a brown to Toronto trade)

SDA is a center in the OHL but I project him to be a winger in the NHL

that would be such 4D chess omg

Use brown as a sweetener to escape the Zaitsev albatross, only to reacquire him later. I miss Brown so much lol, he was such an underrated guy.

Not to mention, he's literally a toronto guy - makes it that much more wholesome lol

Sens are not trading Brown, we’re super high on him. He’s very useful as a mentor, on the PK, and chips in well offensively too. If we did trade him it would be for more than a 3C+B prospect, and he’ll probably make a mil more than that

It never ceases to amaze me how much people just say stuff without really having any idea what they are talking about. Brown was a good 3rd or 4th liner. He wasn't a dressing room leader or a guy who went out and showed grit and heart all the time. He was just a underdog hard working player who earned his playing time and could kill penalties. Stone hands and good speed. He was the same player as Johnsson or Kapanen, less versatile than Kerfoot and at the cost we see here from both an acquisition and contract standpoint is poor asset management. We have better players than him to play in the top 6 and he'd battle Barbarov for 3rd RW and since he is less than half the cost, i'll go with Barbarov. Emotions rule fans mindsets on here. Logic is always thrown out the window.
