Agreed, his size and puck possession abilities and his overall defensive game are critical. He's a secondary offensive guy only but he's got some skill too. With Armia and Anderson together the Habs are closer to balanced in terms of size up front. If they trade Armia too soon it undoes that balance.

He might not receive the "character" tag from Bergevin though, which seems to be his essential condition for a signing. He's not a pure 4th liner too, which would be his role with Caufield in the line up

Paquette and Hyman just cost the Habs Suzuki unless they can magically get rid of 6-7 mil nobody’s paying attention to 22-23 season.
