I can't see NSH really having any interest in that. The 2nd round pick is nice, and fair - but they have the cap space now to keep Jarnkrok who is more important to the team than that 2nd + Dal Colle would/will be. And if they want to trade Jarnkrok, it makes more sense at the deadline as they could maximize his value there - similar to the Coleman and Goodrow trades.

Barzal will want more than 6.5 considering he is better than Gallagher

I like this. I still Barzal gets a little more, supposedly he wants closer to $8 million. Even if we can talk him down, I just don't think $6.5 gets it done

It’s a 2 year deal. I’d be shocked if he gets bridged more than that. Point got 3 x 6.5 in Florida. The one less years makes up for the income tax in Florida

The AAV on Barzal is VERY light for an 8 year deal. Add another $3m to that. I also don't think Wahlstrom gets top line duties right away and you don't have a 23 man roster. I would use that 2nd rounder to shed Leo (which I am about to do).

Also - on the prayer Ladd hits LTIR this team changes drastically. Going to show two options in a sec

I swear it was the other way around a second ago. My mistake if so.

Edit: I'll add on to my original comment and say that Lou all but confirmed Greene is coming back. So Hickey will be 7D at best

    It's a bridge to a better market.
