How do you put Simek above Hertl or Meier?

Totally missed Columbus. Honestly any of Jones, Werenski, Bjorkstrand or Korpisalo would be the pick. Probably Jones.

Can't really argue with the Draisaitl pick, but my dark horse for next season is Caleb Jones. With Klefbom (likely) out for the season Jones has every opportunity to seize a top-4 job, which would make his $850k x 2 deal an absolute steal. Puljujarvi's $1.175M x 2 contract is another candidate, as is Tyson Barrie's ($3.75M x 1).

COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS still get no respect.
I'll help you out...it's Jones. Or Korpisalo in runner up position. Third place would probably be Bjorkstrand.

Now you can take either Wilson or Vrana off of for Washington since they got 2 on your list.

Is Caleb Jones still an ELC?
For the sabres I mean Risto is great but I'd have to take a weird spin and say Eichel...when you look at long term contracts of other players like him you have 11m+ almost everytime...I'd also say Colin Miller or Jake McCabe could become steals next year (maybe even Hutton?)

No, he'll be on his 2nd contract next year.

Werenski?

Him too.
You should do a list with the team with the most team-friendly contracts. I think it is a list of 1 - Columbus...

Jones
Korpisalo
Bjorkstrand
Werenski
Atkinson
Foligno (borderline, not sure if it my bias or $5.5M is favorable given what he brings)
Savard (bordeline, again not sure if I am biased, but based on the AGM trade interest, i think he belongs on the list)
Jenner (another one I think is probably more favorable than it should be based on what he brings, more intangibles than scoring)
Merzlikens (the jury is still out, $4M is quite a bit for a player with so little experience, but based on his half-season last year, this is probably a value, especially when Bob wanted $10M!!!)
