Pain for Shane Redux

Description
Same as before, just no blues trade. That was a mistake to even try. I thought about using strome as a TDL chip but plenty of hawks fans don’t see the logic in it. I’d gladly do it for the right price. If toews and Kane don’t want to stand by for 2 years of pain, then we can trade them as well.

Not really, Florida’s cap is actually pretty flush right now. Plus, Q loves keith and would love to have him. Also, they don’t have any big names up for another two years AND they’ve been very active this FA window.

A 1st and 2nd for a cap dump. A 1st and 2nd for one year of a cap dump. Two 3rds for one tear of a cap dump. Getting paid for three years of a cap dump???

Q would love Keith along with the 2 1sts, 2nds and 2 3rds you received for the other cap dumps...

Arizona isnt trading their 2022 first rounder. They traded it away this year, got it taken away next year, unlikely that a team that relies on cheap young talent goes 3 years in a row without a 1st

I’m sorry, what’s your point? That comment just looks like a recap.

I do agree with you, but the problem is Arizona isn’t in a position where they can decide that. They aren’t even cap compliant WITH Hossa’s LTIR relief. On top of that, the owners can’t afford to pay those players with COVID going on. It’s about taking advantage of their circumstances, same as Tampa.

Rangers pass.

That’s fair, the only thing NYR has to be careful of is their bonus penalties, which is why it is smart to move on from smith while you can.

I agree but I probably should have been clearer. Rangers pass at that cost...maybe one 3rd round pick since they can always send him to the minors and save roughly $1M against the cap.

Ahhh, very fair, I’ll change that. Cheers for the input.

Carpenter's not a good fit for Columbus, where we've already got like 13 bottom-6 forwards. So I can't see Jarmo taking that deal.
