Bergy was interested in aquiring Virtanen at last year's draft.

He had 18 goals in 60 games this year, on pace for 25.

Juolevi has had injuries, but still projects to be a Top 4 D.

You’re an idiot.

Every GM wants Virtanen and has expressed interest. Juolevi isn’t a bust, he’s likely starting on the roster this year and was solid when called up last year and in the AHL. You’re clueless lmao stick to the Habs

1. Habs easily decline. Danault isn’t for sale (yet...)
2. Too many RW. MTL already have Gallagher, Anderson, Toffoli, Armia, and 2 legit RW Prospects in Caufield and Ylönen.
3. Too many LD prospects. Romanov, Guhle, Norlinder, Harris, Struble.

The deal is just a bad fit for MTL

And it's my right to be.

Virtanen feels odd to me, especially when presented as a 25goal scorer. It begs the question, why would Vancouver... who lost a big chunk of their team trade a guy so promising. I have a vibe that he is a goal scorer like Byron and Lekhonen -> they all scored 20 - but they aren't "20 goal scorers"

And I'll take back that nobody wants Virtanen, but still add that nobody wants Virtanen at the price Vancouver fans are setting.

I hope Juolevi pans out.
