Playing center at every level doesnt make you a 1C lmao. He played center these playoffs and was a trainwreck

That’s cuz his linemates (Hyman & Kapanen) played horribly. Hes an elite player, but not franchise like Matthews & Tavares, so he still needs high level linemates to dominate. He’s basically a better version of Sean Monahan.

Alright so your still stuck on this fiction that Marners could be signed to a new contract - he can't and won't be. But this is make belief.

          Hall makes any team better.
He can carry a line on his own.
Put him on the line with Matthews.
Tavares is a more of a set up center while Matthews is finisher.
          Hall will make Matthews better.

          EDIT:
I do not mind the tag.
If I wanted I could ignore it.
Some CF AGM just want to complain.

Um no his game sense at 2C was horrid. He has no idea what he is doing at center and looked so out of place.

Sorry for the tag guys, I just want to showcase my pipe dream Leafs lineup. What'd you think of it? Are they good enough to win the Stanley Cup?

I don't get it really, but it's seems ok to me I guess.

I really like this team. But what is with you and Marner? Can't you be positive about him for once?

Willie is probably my favourite Maple Leaf right now. Before it was Brown and Kadri, so it would suit the pattern that my favourites are always traded, but I would not like it much. Also, I like Sandin quite a lot and am not a big fan of Hall and Laf, so I don't like it much smile

          So a top LW prospect, D prospect & 2 1st Round pucks isn’t enough?

A LW prospects with nowhere near the upside of Lafrenière and two low first round picks; Sandin is solid though still not enough.

Alright, I admit, he did pretty bad that game, was caught out of position on a goal against and his line lost every puck battle causing them to get under siege. But you can’t judge him on just 1 game, he’s done exceptional as a C at every level prior to the NHL. He’d easily be Vegas’ 1C & put him on a line with Stone & Pacioretty who are defensively competent & heavy, it’d work very well.

Thanks for the feedback. We all have our preference for each player, so it’s alrighr that you don’t like the team. But do you think they have enough talent to win the cup?

If Robertson was born 5 days later, he would’ve been elegible for the 2020 NHL Draft. After the season he just had in the OHL, it’s very possible he could’ve gone in the top 10.

Yeah it’s a bit of a stretch, but Vegas would be getting the top line center they badly need.

Of course Lafreniere and a reasonable contract for Marner would help the team in so many respects. But both possibilities are just gone now.

Focusing on the rest, I don't think the changes are so beneficial. Shocking perhaps, but I would rather keep Nylander than signing Hall. And I would rather have Brodie than Theodore. Also, Lehtonen is really worth an NHL trial, and may exceed most people's expectations.

Thanks for the feedback. IDK, I feel Hall is much better than Nylander, he’s shown the ability to carry his team’s offence and play at superstar level. Theodore is younger than Brodie and was one of the favourites for Norris last season.

If Robertson was born 5 days later, he would’ve been elegible for the 2020 NHL Draft. After the season he just had in the OHL, it’s very possible he could’ve gone in the top 10.

He might have gone in the top ten but he would still have nowhere near the upside of Lafrenière.
