If you look at what players are going for in this market, I don't think anyone would pay a 6th round pick for Weal. He probably goes on waivers and plays in Laval next season.

Man Byron gets a lot of heat on this forum. He is an extremely solid and versatile player. Yes his contract is bad, but its not insane - I’d rather have him than lehknonen at 2m - that’s for DAMN sure. There are many many Takers for Byron at that price point. He is worth a 4th or better AT LEAST.

This is the equivalent of TO sending Engvall and Dermott to SJ. Neither are needed or wanted.
