jets are not taking courturier lol. If they’re going to trade a 22 former 44 goal scorer it’ll be for somebody the same age. I could see TK for Laine one for one but not really anyone else

And when it comes to ghost. It’s practically a cap dump at this point. Maybe the jets take a flyer on him hoping he’ll bounce back. But really it looks like he’s never getting back to that point

WPG fans need to stop trying to deal Laine for equal value. Theres a reason hes up for trade, and I think Philly doesn't even do a TK for Laine straight up, (based on salary and contract).

Philly was interested with LD Sanheim but only before Niskanen retired, when Philly countered with Ghost, the talks dried up.

WPG fans keep asking for things they cant get and Philly fans counter with things WPG doesn't want. I love how a 1C coming off the Selke trophy, who gets around 30 goals, is signed for 4.3mil for 2 years is thrown out immediately because hes 4 yrs older than Laine at just 26 yrs old, who is complaining his way out of WPG and is termed as a "former 44 goal scorer". Its a bit ridiculous, but now Philly fans will counter with the "former 35 goal scorer" JVR, see how kind of crazy it gets?

Leaf fans do the same with their Marner trades, asking for exact or greater value/talent back, with no regards for the reason they'd be looking to move said player or what the other would actually need/want. The fact IS Philly and dozens of other teams would love to have Laine, but his salary/contract/attitude are the struggle, and its WPG rumoured to be looking to deal him, so you have to put the NEED or desire to move Laine on WPG.

Philly is not moving cost controlled TK or Sanheim (when their defense just took a loss) or both, they'll counter with a Ghost (who doesn't have negative value, and in relation to DeAngelo signing yesterday, pretty equal at their signing date: both 24, both good number 3's, but just average on defense, Ghost had higher highs) and more, say:

Ghost
PHI 1st
Laughton (ajnd of course it isn't equal value for Laine, the question should be does it fill WPG needs?)

But stop with the to and fro over things Philly will not give up and offering crap WPG doesn't need

Jets don’t have to even trade him this offseason so I don’t understand the take. Somebody’s gonna overpay for laine just wait lol. I mean, your GM literally gave Hayes 50 million dollars lol. Not to mention the flyers have been the ones calling us the most? I’m sure there’s smoke where there’s fire
