Columbus is sending their best forward prospect, best defensive prospect, a 1st and a middle 6 wing for 2 years of Gaudreau...

That’s 3 projected roster players for 1 top 6 wing. Sorry but Columbus isn’t making that trade. Take out Peeke and we’d consider it bud Peeke is the only RHD we have that projects to be NHL level and with Savard being a UFA after next season, he will be even more important for us to keep.

It’s a big upgrade, though, and makes it so that you can add to the bottom of the left side and not the top.

I think if you removed the 2nd rounder the Bs jump on it. Upgrading 2 positions for the cost of a pick in the mid to late 20s. And getting that Hanafin contract is huge
