Easy Team to figure out

Created by: PittsburghBob69
Team: 2020-21 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 16, 2020
Published: Oct. 16, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
You just have to trade Dermott’s rights. Hopefully Lehtonen is what they say he is and adhere’s to the NHL game quickly. And hope Mikheyev signs for 1M/1yr or they are gonna have to let him walk or trade his rights too. Or Bury Engvall’s contract in the minors. And Robertson has to be ready. You need the entry-level contract on a young play-making winger.

And hope the NHL carries a “taxi squad” next year.

Yeah our D has a bunch of question marks around it right now and I don't know how the mgmt team views the depth chart. We have zero top tier dmen, 3 really nice second pairing guys, and like 7 3rd pairing guys. I think they have to play the young guys, but it's still going to be musical chairs. wondering if they are better to ship one off in a trade. Sandin and Liljegren are both a year deep into their ELCs already... I don't know that they are finished moving things around this off season.

I agree. So much confusion on this site w/ Toronto’s team though..lol. Joey Anderson is gonna be the 4th line RW. Maybe Barabnov I guess. But really gonna have two 1st year Russians, with him and Lehtonen, playing on an NHL contender their 1st year. Obviously our rink is smaller and takes some adjusting too. I just don’t see both of them making the team. So that leaves Anderson as the 4th line RW. They traded for him so obviously they think something of him. And I think Vesey is definitely your 13th Foward. I seen people have him playing on the 2nd or 3rd line?? Like wtf?? I think Robertson has to get that shot on the 2nd line wing. Like I said, you guys need that entry-level contract on a play-making winger. That starts narrowing it down. And go from there. It didn’t seem that hard to me.

I think D par would be like that

Muzzin-Lehtonen
Rielly-Brodie
Sandin-Holl

Really liked Liljegren last year, but one more year with the Marlies is ok for him.

Lehtonen is a left-handed shot. He plays RD? I don’t know if u want to put that on a 1st year player coming over from Russia. Having to adapt to the smaller ring is enough of a huge difference. Let alone moving to the opposite side. I don’t know if he plays RD.
