And matched, Barzal is not going anywhere. I know the argument will be how do the Isles afford him and Pulock, they trade Boychuk or send Ladd, Hickey, and Komarov down and use the cost savings to sign him.

I wouldn't say overpaying, it's probably quite fair all things considered...but not a lot of point in spending that much on a C if you're going to misuse them anyway, right? (Also, Isles match this in a heartbeat anyway...)

Lou Lamoriello easily matches that offer sheet on Matt Barzal, Probably need to be closer to $11 mil per for him to take the picks.

With Toffoli signing $4.25 x 4 and Dadonov $5m x 3, I have a hard time believing that Hoffman will sign for that high of an AAV. Gotta think it comes in <$6m. There are also rumors that he is now looking at 1 year deals, so he that could be interesting.

Easier said than done. Boychuk, Ladd and Hickey have negative value and would take other assets to move
