As a Flames fan, would've liked more term but totally understand it's not really doable with the tight cap situation. Good deal for a player that's getting better.

Pretty much what I expected, decent number for a guy who could still grow into a 50-60 point player. I like that he's still an RFA at the end too, 2022 is gonna be a busy summer though with him, Johnny, and Chucky all needing new deals (at least Gio's deal comes off the books then too, and we can probably dump the last year of Lucic for a 2nd)
