Really hate to see a 2nd overall pick have such bad luck / suck this bad..... then you realize he plays for the flyers. Good signing hopefully he can turn things around

Hopefully, he can find his way out of trouble and play again. The Flyers fans shouldn't look who the team could have selected instead flushed cheeks

God I feel bad for the guy.

He's honestly done everything the team has asked and anyone talking crap about him because of a medical condition is automatically a pos.

Putting hockey aside, I hope at the very least he's able to get healthy for his own wellbeing. If he is able to make a full recovery, I think there's still a heck of a talent in there, and you'll be getting an extremely motivated player.

Every morning when I wake up I thank God for the Devils passing on Nolan in favor of Nico. I mean, the Devils coulda had Pettersson, but I'm def. not gonna complain! This was one of the few smart moves Shero made in Jersey.

I mean, it's not like the Flyers knew he'd be hindered by migraines a few years later...

I’ve wanted to see him moved to the leafs for a while. See if there’s anything they could do for him.

It’s the cntract we all knew. Hopefully he can get healthy but the loss of development in key years sucks.

1st overall pick in 2007 NBA draft, had knee issues and is regarded 'a bust', Nolan Patrick is 2nd overall pick and is having health issues too and he is not regarded 'a bust' but a player who 'hasn't had a chance to see his potential' smh

Good signing but this kid needs to produce or this OVERDRAFTED player will be considered a bust. How in the WORLD the first two players taken in this draft of his were taken over the 3rd and 4th picks is BEYOND me. This kid was so overhyped and I said it the whole way. That's why you don't listen to media when making a decision of who you draft. Listen to your on hands research.

To be fair, he isn't really regarded as a bust yet because he still has time to make an impact in the show. I think its safe to say Oden's time is up.
