Kerfoot is still young with 3 years left on his deal. Down year last year but on Ottawa he's a 50 point guy.

Value wise i would accept the Kerfoot deal but i think that Ottawa will be a bottom 5-10 team so they might not be comfortable. I still would not do the trade because of our lack of options as Center. I do not want to have to 100 percent rely on Thornton/Spezza as our third line centre.

I wouldn't ever consider trading Holl for that return. He has proved he can be a decent number 4 guy when paired with Muzzin. He would ideally be a third pair guy on a contender but we cannot just be giving away RHD options for next to nothing. Especially when we can be cap compliant just by cutting down the roster size.
