Reaaally stretching the definition of upgrade here. He's probably better than Johnson though.


I will say that he and Mike Matheson do have a small history. They played together for team Canada a few years ago and they were pretty fantastic together. That said, that was in like 2015 and it was international hockey so I wouldn't exactly be banking on them finding that same success.

The ONE defensive player I have on my list about NOT adding after we finally got rid of Jack Johnson. The ONE player and JR signs him. I CANNOT believe what JR is doing. He MUST be senile. There is NO other answer. Absolutely BRUTAL Signing. I wouldn’t have even signed him for 700k that’s how bad he is.
