Description

Not a bad team by any stretch. I’m optimistic that Faulk will have a better year with a more defined role and I think we still have solid depth. I would love to bring in another Top 9 guy, whether that’s Hoffman on a one year deal, a two way player like Granlund, or more of a lottery ticket like Galchenyuk. We’d have to move a player like Bozak to bring someone in, but I think thats doable if we retain about a million or so. Tarasenko should be back in time for the playoff push, but it’s yet to be seen how effective he’ll be. I think the smart move for Dunn and the Blues is to do short term and wait for us to move cap next offseason. I’m interested to see how he plays with the addition of Krug.

The Pens have 1.3 mil in cap space. They can't take that contract even if you ate half of it.

I thought I wanted Hoffman, but I think Granlund would be a better fit, and a little cheaper too. I made pretty much that exact same Bozak deal but to NYR instead.

Ok, I saw a post of them signing Haula but I didn’t know that cap was such an issue.

I feel like he always played well against us when he played for Minnesota. I think he’d be a better fit honestly.
