Why would Minnesota ever accept that? The Islanders would be the ones paying not Minnesota. Plus isn’t Clutterbuck potential LTIR candidate?

Nick Leddy has negative value why would MTL give up Chiarot and a pick. Same thing with Minny.

The term would have to be 5 years for barzal. Pulock doesn’t accept that.

How does Chiarot and a 4th for Leddy mean he has negative value? Chiarot = 2nd. So while his value is lower than Leddy's we are adding a 4th plus Your saving 1.5 Mil in cap space.

MIN declines - Foligno is very good.

I don't know much about Foligno TBH was just trying to send Clutterbuck out for a B prospect + mid pick.

I am agreeing he isn't Negitive value he probably goes for a 2nd + 3rd on the open market. Chiarot goes for a 2nd + maybe a 4th though so their value is not far apart. By us adding the 4th and the cap space you save IMO it evens out the deal.

Like I said I was looking for a young B type prospect and don't know much about Foligno so thought he would be a good target. I knew Nick Foligno played in Columbus and had to make sure I wasn't accidentally trading for him lol

Foligno was getting selke talk this year. He won’t score a ton of points but he’s one tough sob to play against.

Habs do not want this deal. They like Chairot a lot and the extra 2 mil coming back hurts along with the pick it’s off.
