Last few moves to reshuffle the 3rd and 4th lines, with a focus on improving the defense, toughness, and PK unit.

P.S. I know there's zero chance Joe does this much tinkering the remainder of the offseason, but he's done such a good job setting this team up that it's now boring for us. Hahaha

The pk problems have nothing to do with the players and everything to do with a flawed scheme that is infuriating.

Or hear me out here...play your best defensively forwards like Nichushkin on the PK instead. Just a thought.
The "Fix the PK" is now "we need more secondary scoring" panic moves.

God I hope someone hits a Tampa player with an OS. I doubt it's Sakic though.

I feel like Kuraly is overvalued by Avs fans on this site. He's not a bad player by any means, but I don't think he's much of an upgrade over what the team already has.

Agree with others on the pk too. I think the personnel is fine. Jost looked pretty decent in that role at the end of the year, so that gives the team options. Calvert, PEB, JTC, TJ, Nuke, Saad, and even Landy in a pinch should be enough up front. Not too sure who gets Zadorov's minutes, but I'm pretty sure they'll be okay.

100% on board with the "P.S." in the description, ha ha!

I know, right? This has to be something Bednar fixes, right? They have to know it didn't work and will try something new, right? I never got why they didn't make adjustments when it was clear they needed to.

Tampa would match that soooo fast. That's well below what they're likely gonna need to pay Cernak.

Grabner should get signed at $700k, if at all. No way he gets that much when guys like Nieto are taking league minimum. And he should be 13th forward, not a regular.

Interesting Boston trade, but I doubt they want to lose Kuraly as he's been great for them at 4C.

Tierney would be a good fit short-term, but I doubt Ottawa makes that trade.
