Description

let's say Mihkeyev and dermott sign for these price the leafs will be right at the cap and realistically the leafs aren't trading anyone with a clause.
that leaves Engvall, Kerfoot and Campbell as trade options
If they trade Kerfoot they will certainly have enough cap, if they trade Campbell they have a replacement in dell and that gives them enough money for another roster spot, if they trade engvall they just want that extra cap that they would pay him if he was buried.
Which direction d you think the leafs will go or will they figure it out with what they have ?

In this scenario Engvall is the odd man out. Leafs would probably value the defenceman in Holl over the bottom 6 forward in Engvall. If he’s traded they are cap compliant

Well they would be able to trade Holl. His clause is very loose and easy to find a respective trading partner

Dubarelli is done trading, he needs 2 Fs, 1 D and 1 G to be expansion draft eligible

Is current Roster able to go all the way to the Cup ? No. Is it better then last 2 years ? For sure.

just trade no one. Dermott's QO is $874,125 which saves just over $25,000. Also, Mikheyev won't cost that much, especially on a one year deal. his contract on a one year deal should probably be around 1-1.25M.

what will the leafs do ?
