Description

I was listening to a Podcast and they threw out this idea. I know Fleury is staying in Vegas for now but I wonder what other people think of this trade? The Oilers can have a proven goalie to split with Kosk and Neal can maybe get his scoring touch again in Vegas. Oil pay more but have 1 less year on contract.

I think it’s a bad idea. Neal provides 20-25 goals once you subtract that then the additions of turris and jp have to make up that ground before they start actually adding to team total they were brought in to do.

If VGK is actually serious about it, Id combine the two:

No retention on Vegas' part, just straight up 2 for 1. Money is a wash for the 1st year, we would solve the goaltending issue.
No picks either side, no prospects either.
