1 year to take him to arbitration. Good value for Vancouver in the present as Gaudette looks to be improving. Can't go wrong.

For scoring 33 points last season this is a good deal. He may have waited to long to sign.

Wow! This is an absolute steal, even as a 10.2C. Should be due for a solid raise next season if he takes another step this year.

Wow, I didn't expect him to sign for that. I believe he's worth about 2-2,5M, this is a huge steal

Wow that's a insanely good deal for the Canucks. Kid was on pace for 45pts over 82 games last year. On the flip side if he has another strong year and things start to rebound financially, he could get a solid contract next off-season that's potentially more than trying to cash in now.

I guess they aren't bringing Gaudette back next year?
Because he'll definitely costs more after next season.

Pretty good signing if you ask me. I had him at $1.5 - $2 million.

If they buy out Baertschi, they get enough cap space for up to $2.5 million and they reduce to 14 forwards.

Great signing, surprised they didnt go for 2 years just to avoid the headache next year.

As for the long prediction posted above- Leivo isnt signed by anyone. Ferland is likely to be on the LTIR, and who says they want to resign Edler and Pearson at those values? Nor does anyone know what the cap situation is going to be like- RFA's wont be able to demand big raises if the money isnt there. some are finding out now.
