But the team has entered 1 mil, right. Sounds about right for the arbitrator to split it down the middle at about 1.8 mil, considering his track record.

The good news is apparently its him and not his agent pushing for 2.7 as his agent reported 1.75 for 2-3 years 2months ago. With the team getting to pick the term I see 1.5-1.75 for 2 years.

Arbitrators will look at multiple factors and yes he was projected to get 50 points before the injury but remember who he was playing with. Tavares, that man can get wings more points than they should and if you look at the numbers.

With Kerfoot Mikheyev would probs have got 30-37 points
Tavares pushed that to around 50.

So i dont know what soups hes been eating but 2.7mill is a yikes as 23 points does not get you that.
