Avs decline, thats awful for them, they are not taking on double the cap hit from the pens and getting worse players

Huh? It’s only double the cap hit cause you’re getting double the players, one of which can be put in the minors if you really wanted. You’re getting two solid 4th liners. One with the potential to be a 3rd liner and a 3rd for a 3rd liner. Let’s not act like it’s some superstar for cap dumps trade lol

I think the pens would be willing to accept the jets deal. Riikola is a throw in imo but they’d probably still do it.
Detroit deal is fair, but doubt they’d do it. Maybe to a better team that could use some forward depth.
The Avs trade doesn’t move the needle. It’s not unfair, I just don’t see either side interested in doing it.
